Within the Cœurs Braves community, we firmly believe that talent has neither social colour nor borders. Many young people from poor and disadvantaged families carry within them an invaluable richness: their creativity, their intelligence and their courage.
A real springboard to the future
At the Cleau Hope Center in Yaoundé, we see young people transform their difficulties into strength every day: learning a trade, discovering their gifts and building solid skills to become agents of change. Our businesses do not merely train: they open concrete doors by integrating these young people into real projects — media, agricultural cooperatives, creative studios and social initiatives.
Often difficult journeys
These young people come from all over Cameroon. Some are from very modest families, others are displaced by the Anglophone crisis, and others are street children. Many arrive at the centre with no pocket money and nothing to eat.
That is why, at midday, thanks to donations from the Cœurs Braves and people of goodwill — notably the president of Wings for Africa e.V., whose work with these children is remarkable —, we manage to gather rice, salt, oil, fish and other food. The young people then prepare and share the meal together, in a spirit of solidarity and brotherhood, before returning to class with renewed strength.
Believing in a better future
Training these young people free of charge, and feeding them, is a great commitment. But our mission is clear: to reveal the hidden talents of the forgotten, so that tomorrow they become entrepreneurs, leaders and role models for their generation.
With the Cœurs Braves, every disadvantaged young person can believe in a better future — not as a distant dream, but as a reality being built from today.
